News reached here yesterday of the death of Mr. William J. NOBLES of near Vanceboro, 
but no particulars have been received so far. Mr. NOBLES was for many years one of 
the leading and substantial farmers and mill owners of his section. He was probably 
fifty-four or five years of age, but having led an active out-door life, he was 
only about in his prime apparently.
