Mrs. P. S. MOORE, 59, of Gardner’s Cross Roads, died at her home at 11 o’clock this
morning, following an illness of three weeks. Funeral services will be held at the
residence at 3 o’clock tomorrow afternoon. Rev. Gilbert DAVIS, Christian minister
of Bell Arthur, will conduct the services. Burial will follow in the Gardner
cemetery. Mrs. Moore was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. J. B. KILPATRICK.
She spent her entire life in the community in which she died. Surviving are her
husband; three sons, Edward, Francis and William MOORE; one daughter, Miss Pauline
MOORE; four brothers, Moses KILPATRICK of Norfolk, Va., Jesse KILPATRICK of Zebulon;
Edward KILPATRICK and Paul KILPATRICK, who is enrolled in the CCC; and two sisters,
Mrs. C. W. WORTHINGTON and Mrs. Lula CHAPMAN, both of Ayden, R.F.D.
