George McGowan Dead Daily Reflector, Wed., Jun 13, 1900 Mr. George MCGOWAN, a Confederate soldier died at his home a few miles from Greenville Tuesday with paralysis. He was about eighty years of age and had suffered from a stroke of paralysis for some time. His remains will be buried this afternoon on Mr. John MCLAWHORN'S place.
