Arch McGowan in Fatal Accident

Eastern Reflector, Wed., Feb. 11, 1891

Mr. Arch MCGOWAN, a citizen of this township, was accidently killed Monday 
morning. He left his home, four miles distant, on horseback intending to 
come to town, Just below Parker's Cross Roads, his horse stumbled and fell, 
throwing him off. In the fall, Mr. MCGOWAN'S neck was broken. Two persons 
riding along the road at the same time saw the accident. Mr. MCGOWAN was 
dead when they reached him.
